Walgreen's and Kroger Pharmacy are both loyal Lakeland businesses and we encourage all residents to continue to have their prescriptions and shopping at either Walgreen's or Kroger Pharmacy (and of course, the Kroger Store in Lakeland).
While there is no sales tax on prescription drugs, obviously the stores depend on the prescription sales and related taxable sales to survive as Lakeland stores.
If you have a problem with either pharmacy or store, I encourage you to call and advise the store manager of the problem and give them a chance to fix it! I know Mark, the Store Manager at Walgreen's, and the Manager at Kroger Pharmacy, will be glad to discuss and resolve any problems you may have.
All Lakeland residents are encouraged to shop Lakeland, and use Walgreen's and Kroger Pharmacy for your prescriptions and other needs!
