SCHOOL ORDINANCE PASSED-ELECTION OF LAKELAND MUNICIPAL BOARD NOVEMBER 7
The Lakeland Board of Commissioners took final action Wednesday, August 21, on an ordinance requesting an election for the Lakeland Municipal School Board on November 7, 2013. The elected School Board will take office in December.
Mayor Scott Carmichael is scheduled to deliver the Ordinance to the Shelby County Election Board on Thursday.
We understand that petitions for the Lakeland Municipal School Board may be picked up on August 26, 2013.
