Capital Improvements Projects Status includes:
I-40/CANADA ROAD INTERCHANGE:
Construction scheduled to start in 2013: This project will include:
-Replacement of Interchange at I-40 and Canada Road to a “single point” interchange, including new on and off ramps, traffic signals etc.
-Traffic signals at Davies Plantation/ Beverle Rivera (by McDonalds) with turn lanes etc.
-Extension of Beverle Rivera Avenue to Seed Tick Road
-Repaving of remaining portion of Huff and Puff

HADLEY STREET RECONSTRUCTION/BLUEBIRD COVE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS:
Bids received, scheduled for approval by Board of Commissioners on January 3, 2012 (Bids will be discussed at the December 18, 2012 Work Session). Construction to start as weather permits.
STEWARD ROAD BRIDGE:
Repairs scheduled to start in 2013
NEW CANADA ROAD (between I-40 and Highway 70):
Preliminary Plans completed. Tennessee Department of Transportation approval required to proceed with acquisition of easements/right of way and final plans.
