We are researching the 1986 Time Capsule in Lakeland City Hall Park, which is to be opened in 2011.

We would especially like information on the reason for the Time Capsule, the events surrounding the Time Capsule, who was involved in the project and, of course, what is in the Time Capsule!

City of Lakeland Schedule for February

Changes in the normal City ofLakeland meeting schedule include:

-The Board of Adjustment will meet at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2011

-The Municipal Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, February 17 (instead of Monday, February 21, 2011

-City Hall will be closed Monday, February 21, 2011 for Presidents Day (refuse collection routes are not affected)
