Lakeland Outdoors Event scheduled May 5, 2012 MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the first ever "Lakeland Outdoors" event scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2012 at International Harvester Park.

The Lakeland Natural Resources Board is scheduling the event and events will include demonstrations on tree climbing and even include jumping from tree to tree, a Barbecue lunch (for a fee), free seedlings, prizes, crafts, sidewalk chalk, face painting, a wide variety of exhibitors and events, to be announced in the near future.

Watch for the announcement, but reserve the date now for this exciting event!

Summer Sports Camp Registration now open

Registration for Lakeland Summer Camps is open now. Scheduled camps include Tennis Match Play Prep, Junior Golf Clinic, Basketball Camp, Quick Start Tennis Camp and a Tennis Camp.

-11:00 a.m., Monday, March 5: Dunkin Donuts Grand Opening

-7:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13: Lakeland Chamber of Commerce "Chocolate and Coffee" at the Stonebridge Golf Course Clubhouse. Come out and meet Mayor Luttell and Miss Tennessee and enjoy a unique experience!

The Economic Development Commission meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 22 has been cancelled.
