Participants will be seleced  for the Focus Group based on the following criteria:  1) recreational interests, e.g., t-ball/baseball, soccer, skateboarding, among other sports/interests; 2) subdivisions/area of residence; and 3) diversity among participants in an effort to ensure that the Focus Group best reflects the entire community.
Residents interested in volunteering for the Focus Group or for more information contact Thad Jablonski at 867-2717 or cityoflakeland@lakelandtn.org

The Focus Group will have 50 residents maximum.  Due to the limited number of participants, all interested Lakeland residents not selected for the Focus Group are encouraged to attend the meeting on March 5th.

The Focus Group will provide  input for the City Park Assessment and Strategic Planning Study that will include recommendations to the Park Board, Board of Commissioners and City staff in identifying recreational needs and future recreational facilities in Lakeland.

The program is a partnership with the Recreational Educational Services (RES), a division of the Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation and the City of Lakeland.
