Possible Lakeland Municipal School Board candidates are encouraged to attend the Candidate Forum from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., August 7, 2012 at the Bartlett Municipal Center. The Forum will be sponsored by the Tennessee School Board Association . Of course, this is subject to Lakeland residents approving the referendum to establish a Lakeland Municipal School District at the August 2, 2012 election.
Lakeland Municipal School District candidates will need to file in August. The election for Lakeland Municipal School District School Board will be at the regular November election.
