“STARS AND STRIPES” BBQ SENIOR LUNCHEON
Friday, June 22nd, 11:30 a.m., IH Clubhouse, 4523 Canada Road
Sponsored by the City of Lakeland and St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett
Seniors (55+) are invited to celebrate our freedom and friendship at the “Stars and Stripes” BBQ Luncheon. The featured entertainment for the event is The Sgt. W. K. Singleton Pipes and Drums. They are an all-volunteer group that performs throughout the Mid-South. The band is associated with Detachment 476 of the Marine Corp League, Memphis, Tennessee. They perform as part of their Honor Guard. Music played includes traditional Scottish and Irish tunes, American Patriotic music, and songs to warm the heart and bring a smile
The luncheon will be BBQ, beans and slaw catered Central BBQ, and includes dessert and drinks. The cost of the meal is $10 per person, payable at the door.
Bring a friend, make a friend and spend a wonderful afternoon eating great BBQ, enjoying conversation and a laugh or two with fellow seniors, and the special program planned by The Sgt. W.K. Singleton Pipes and Drums. You may a door prize!
